From Blog Posts to Social Media Jungle

When I started this blog, it was simple: sit down, type some monkey-brain thoughts, and share them with you lovely human-peoples. But now? It feels like my life is slowly being taken over by these silly human inventions. Writing, editing, posting, commenting, liking—it never ends! And all of it means less time for the important things, like swinging on tree branches and snacking on bananas. 🍌

Why I’m Doing It Anyway

If I’m being honest, I wasn’t exactly thrilled when my manager/zoo keeper suggested I start social media accounts. “It’ll help you connect with your fans!” they said. “It’s great for spreading the word about your album!” And while that’s true, it also feels like I’m trading my jungle freedom for a shiny little screen.

But here’s the thing: sharing my music, my silliness, and my love for bananas with all of you human-peoples is pretty special. If this is what it takes to swing into your lives, maybe it’s worth the effort. Even if it means spending a little less time in the treetops.

A Marcel Philosophy Moment

You know, human-peoples, social media is like a shiny fruit: it looks sweet and tempting, but once you bite into it, you realize it takes a lot of peeling to enjoy. And sometimes, you just want to skip the peeling and eat a banana instead.

But here’s what I’ve learned: life is about balance. Even if it feels like social media is stealing some of my jungle time, it’s also giving me a chance to connect with you in new and exciting ways. And maybe, just maybe, that makes it all worthwhile.
