Hello, my human-peoples! 🐒 Hoo-ha-ha! It’s Marcel Du Chimp, back again for another blog post—number FIVE! Can you believe it? Neither can I! (Do monkeys even count that high? Asking for a friend.)

So here we are, December 8th already, and I’m still catching my breath from last week’s whirlwind. Time flies faster than a banana peel on a slippery floor, especially when you’re having as much fun as I’ve been having lately. Let me tell you all about it.

The Week That Zoomed By

First, there was the press conference. I got to stand in front of a whole crowd of curious human-peoples and talk about stuff. It was bananas! (Figuratively. Sadly, not literally.) We wrapped things up with a fancy lunch at Joyous Chinese Cuisine, complete with big lobsters! 🦞 Pro tip: wear the bib. Trust me.

Then came the album release party downtown at this super-cool, historical venue in Chinatown. You know the kind of place—where all the great bands once played. The walls felt like they were humming with stories, and I was happy to add my monkey tunes to the mix. Funny thing, though—it wasn’t really my party. It was actually somebody’s birthday. But hey, no cake? No problem. I just pretended the whole thing was for me. Everyone seemed to go along with it, so I’m calling that a win! 🎉🎶

Lessons in Time and Lobsters

You know what I’ve learned? Time really does fly when you’re having fun. One minute you’re cracking jokes at a press conference, the next you’re nibbling on lobster, and before you know it, you’re dancing at someone's birthday party and pretending it's for your album release! It’s all a blur of laughter, music, and some yummy free snacks… the cup noodles especially hit the spot! Gave me the energy to do my monkey dance for the ladies.

Good times! I didn't even notice it passing until now that I'm looking back at the week. All the amazing things I got to experience. And let me tell you, I could definitely get used to this!
