Hello again, human-friends! 🐒✨ It’s me, Marcel Du Chimp, back at the keyboard for my 4th blog post. Now, you might be thinking, “Marcel, are you going to write about the number four today, just like you wrote about the number three yesterday?” And to that, I say: Absolutely not!
Why, you ask? Well, I have four reasons why I’m NOT writing about the number four!!!! 🍌🍌🍌🍌
Four Reasons I’m Not Writing About Four
It’s Too Obvious
- I mean, come on. Blog post #4 about the number four? That’s like eating the same banana three days in a row—predictable and slightly mushy.
I’m Not a One-Trick Chimp
- Sure, I wrote about three yesterday, but I’m a chimp of many talents. Numbers are great, but let’s not pigeonhole me into a mathematical monkey! 🐾🐾
Four Feels Too Balanced
- Four is a very “stable” number—think chairs, tables, or squares. But life (and blogging) is supposed to have a little wobble! Stability is great for furniture, but my blog needs more swing!
Bananas Don’t Come in Fours
- As the world’s foremost banana expert, I can confirm: bananas are a three-or-bunch kind of deal. Four Bananas? Only humans would do that!!!! 🍌🍌🍌🍌
So, What AM I Writing About?
Today, I’m writing about how sometimes, it’s okay to take a different path. When something feels obvious or expected it's too boring to just follow it. Life’s too short (and too silly) to colour inside the lines all the time.
A Marcel Philosophy Moment
Think of life like a jungle. You could take the main trail where all the other animals go, or you could swing off into the unknown, grabbing vines and discovering new adventures. Sure, the unknown might have a few bumps—or coconuts—but it’s also where all the fun surprises are hiding.
But Wait…
By refusing to write about the number four, haven’t I actually written about it? This whole post was supposed to be a rebellion against writing about the number four, but in doing so, I’ve given it all my attention. Maybe that’s the secret: sometimes, when we try to avoid something, we’re still tangled up in it.
So here’s today’s profound thought, fresh from my fuzzy brain: The act of rebelling against something, is also a way of participating in it.
With that, I’ll embrace the four-ness of this post and let it be what it is—a cheeky little dance with the very thing I said I’d avoid. Until next time, keep swinging and rebelling… or participating… or both. 🍌✨
Yours in bananas and paradoxes,
Marcel Du Chimp 🐒🎶
